NBA basketball: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
Well as some of you may know the NBA season started this week. I'm super excited about it. It is even a big deal in this little country. They love their basketball over here. The Good: The teams appear to be more balanced, Kobe added some muscle, the rookie crop is impressive, the Raptors made a couple of good moves (Lamond Murray and Voshon Leonard), there are some Canadians playing well in the league and of course the Lakers are going for number 4. It has the makings of a good season. The Bad: Injuries (Vince, Shaq, Lamond, Antonio Davis. Those are the ones that I care about), T-mac getting better (I hate him), the television commentary is in Chinese, the season is so long and Sacramento looks good. The Ugly: Sam Cassell, Scottie Pippen, Hedo Turgolu and Jeff Van Gundy (even though he's not coaching anymore). Go Lakers!!!
