Well the weekend is over again. It comes and goes every week. I'm super excited cuz my friend Scott is coming for a visit. He gets here Tuesday morning. It should be good times. Lately I've become a little bit of a bookworm. I'm usually a slow reader and I find it hard to get into books but I've been reading some great stuff. In the last month I've read a biography of Magic Johnson, "Drive" an autobiography by Larry Bird and "The Woman Who Walked Into Doors" by Roddy Doyle. Roddy Doyle is an irish author who continually amazes me. I highly recommend reading his books. His books are the only books that have ever made me laugh out loud, it's weird. You may be familiar with the movie "The Commitments", that's one of his books. Last thing....the NBA season is almost two weeks old and it's not looking good for me so far. The Lakers are 2-5 and the Raptors are 2-4. It's a sad thing in this house. Shaq will be back but as for Vince, who knows, maybe he's a career bandaid. Hope not. Ok. Peace out.
