Second..... Merry Christmas!!! That's right, today Nevada and I celebrated our Christmas day. We're leaving next weekend for our Christmas vacation to Thailand so we thought we should have some official Christmas festivities this weekend. Last night for Christmas eve we went out to a nice a western style restaurant called "The Finnish Restaurant." It was started by a lady who moved here from Finland. They make great food. We had Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, fresh bread, cheese and juice. MMMMM... It was also very quaintly decorated with red table clothes, soft lighting, a Christmas tree and a Christmas calendar on the wall. We went our friends John and Kim from BC. After that we all went back to our house for a little games night. Our other friends Kris and Katrina also came over. We played our new game that Nevada got for Christmas from her friend Shelen. It's called "Bohnanza", it's a German card game about planting beans. We had a great night.

Then today was Christmas. We woke up and met my mom online for a webcam Christmas. Technology is great. We opened our presents up from each other (and from Grandma and Grandpa) and it was really neat. It almost felt real. Then Nevada and I opened up our gifts from each other. I got a great book and some fun Basketball stuff, Nevada got some shoes and a photo album. It was a good haul.. Next we went with our friends to "Big Fat Greek Wedding". It was pretty good. A nice family holiday movie. It made me and Nevada get all mushy and lovy. Then we went for Indian food which, let me tell you, is always a fantastic meal. I love curry.......Then we went to Church. It was a different sort of Christmas but still very special.
