Blogust & Everything After

I was driving to work today listening to my MD (minidisc) player and Old Guard Road came on. For those of you that don't know, Old Guard Road is a band that a couple of my friends from church were in. They won the C95 Battle of The Bands. With this they received some recording time and eventually put out an album. It's called Peace Offering and its really good. This is what I realized today. That album is top notch. I love almost every song and those boys are so talented. I really wish they could've stayed together and made great music for years. I miss the days of OGR gigs at Amigo's and the Wash'N'Slosh. I was lucky enough to have them play music at my wedding and I will remember that forever. So I guess I wanted to get everyone thinking of OGR and maybe if you have it, take the album out today and let it groove you and move you......
