My friend Luis has restored my faith in the blog. He reads it and for that sole purpose I will continue to write. This week I had a few women say some nice things to me which doesn't happen that often so I thought I'd share. I would like to first make a pitch to all single men back home. If a companion is what you're looking for this is the place to be. Even if you're ugly or not to personable. The women here are all over foreigners. There are a whole lot of ugly white men here with attractive asian significant others. Anyways back to my stories. The first happened at my night school. I came back from vacation and my coworker Alexia was sizing me up. Then later she said, " You are looking very thin." You can imagine how many times in my life I've heard that.... never. So that was a plaesant day. The next day I was in McDonalds waiting in line and I could sense that the two women behind me were talking about me. They would babble in Chinese than look at me.... I of course got a little offended because when you can't understand you automatically think the worst, especially with Chinese cuz it's such an aggressive language. But the one lady got really close and said, "Can I ask you a question?" I was a little shocked by the English but of course I said ok. She asked,"do you wear contact lenses" to which I responded "No". She said, "Wow! because you have very beautiful eyes. Very Blue." Sweet, they were checking out my beautiful eyes. The next story happened at my morning kindergarten. I teach four 30 min classes in the mornings and each class has a Chinese Teacher in it. So there's this one teacher named May who's always flirting with me. She's usually more interested in talking to me than having me actually teach in her class. So this particular day she had some pictures to give me. Pictures we had taken of me and the class at Christmas time. As we were looking at them she says "Oh, you are so handsome." I blushed and said thank you. Then she followed up with " It's too bad you are married." and then a giggle. It was uncomfortable but flattering. So that was my week. Asian women want me but I'm taken. And "I'm 150 to 200 percent happy with the wife I have" (A Survivor Thailand quote for those of you that watch the show) Peace, I'll check in later.......
