Happy Valentines Day!!!!

I know it's been awhile. I'm not very good at this entry business. I love reading other blogs but couldn't be bothered with my own. We had a good holiday visit with Nevada's dad and his girlfriend. They came for only five days and we packed in about 10 days worth of activity. Needless to say I came back from my holidays more worn out than when I left. We also shopped more than I ever want to ever again. Sheri was on a rampage like I've never seen. She is a self proclaimed "shit collector" and boy did she buy a lot of "shit". So now life is back to the day to day grind. I realize how much I really don't like a lot of the kids I teach. For those of you that don't know, I teach at a very small low-end cram school here. We are also cheaper than most so I think I get a lot of the slow and/or bad kids that couldn't hack it at other schools. And more and more I see my job as a babysitting service as opposed to an English teacher. Maybe that's my fault, I should put a bit more into this, we'll see.

Last weekend was the NBA All Star weekend and here are my comments. In no particular order as they come to me: *Jordan needs to retire, what a poor performance *Magic is fatter and older than ever but his team still won *Peja got lucky and Wesley Person got screwed -*Richard Jeffereson went home a big time loser while J.Rich wowed again *That new skills comp. was boring *Wish I could've seen the Rookie game, they didn't broadcast it here *T-Mac was trying to hard to win MVP, share the ball a litlle and you eventually get that trophy *Nash really needs to cut that mullet *All Stars????? Brad Miller, Zydrunas, Antoine Walker.... *Yao Ming, good thing you got voted there otherwise you should be at home watching the game. Hasn't proved it yet to me...... *Double Overtime, sweet *KG deserved the credit
