Howdy Y'all....Wow did I have a great weekend. We went camping to Moalin which is a mountain or mountain range about an hour and a half north of Kaohsiung. It was gorgeous. I hate to rub it in but it was sunny and about 28 C. We drove there on our motorbikes and scooters. That was probably the best part. The open road, the sun, the fresh air and an MD of "Delerious" playing full blast. What a way to experience God's creation. So we get there and our friends who are leading the way take us down this steep mountain road that turns from cement to broken cement to gravel to rocks and then to cap it all off we run into this path that goes straight through these trees and is covered in knee high grass. But we go anyways. In the end it was totally worth although I don't think my scooter would agree. We came to this secluded little beach that was next to a mountain stream/river. It was awesome. We spent the day hanging out: swimming, reading, getting some sun etc. Just relaxin. Then at night we headed to some hotsprings. They were good but scorching hot and packed to the nuts with people. That night we built a big campfireand chatted for a while. The highlight was when we started singing. We sang some worship tunes and it was sweet. My favorite was this four part harmony that Chuck taught us. It was beautiful. The music eventually chaged styles and finally ended with a half hour of Disney movie songs. Which is of course a specialty of mine. We slept, played around some more the next day and then headed home. I got super sunburned but nothing can put a damper on such a perfect weekend.
