Blogust & Everything After

Back to the blog. I thought I should throw this on the old Blog. A good prayer request is always a positive thing. I have a new friend in Taiwan named Kris. He's from Sudbury, Ontario and he loves basketball just like me. Anyways we play every Tuesday night with a bunch of other foreigners. This Tuesday Kris wasn't playing so well. The ball just wasn't dropping. He was getting more and more frustrated as the day went on. Finally near the end of the night he got really mad and punched the basketball net support (the pole under the hoop). It does have a little cushion thing on it but it's only about an inch thick. So basically he punched a big metal pole. Needless to say he got hurt and stopped playing. No one knew how bad it was but Kris has been in the hospital for the last few days. He had to get surgery done and the put in 4 pins. This whole thing sucks. He's out for at least 6 weeks and then I;m sure some rehab after that. I guess I want to ask anyone who reads this and feels inclined to pray for his hand, his pain and his recovery. Thanks
