So Nevada and I have come across a disapointing reality: we won't really come home to Canada with much money. It gets us down cuz that was our goal in coming here to Taiwan. But I myself am not that disapointed because I see world exploration as valuable and irreplaceable. We may not come home with money but we definitely have an abundance of things like memories, adventures and life experience. We have also made some significant purchases which we would never would've been able to make at home. I don't know why we are in such a hurry to be financially established. I know very few 24 year olds that are set up financially. There are a few and we have a few friends like that so we get caught up in keeping up. That's all. I just wanted to share how we are feeling. We're looking forward to seeing everyone at Christmas and spending some quality time with the people we love. And in the end isn't that what matters, not money...
