Blogust & Everything After

Today is my Birthday!!! The big 24. That's right I'm almost 25. Old balls. I had a nice mellow day today. Another girl at our church stole my birthday party day so I'm gonna have a bash at a later date. Today I awoke to pancakes, bacon and coffee all made by my beautiful wife. Then I watched a dvd. Nevada came in during the show and told me it was arts and crafts time. She had bought me a Starbuks "design your own" tumbler. You can make a collage or get a picture and put it in the outer shell of the cup so that you have a unique mug with your own design. So I cut out some pictures from some basketball magazines and made a sweet mug. Then we went to a local pool in the afternoon. This pool is awesome...it's in the back gardens of Kaohsiung most famous hotel and a foreigner operates it and opened it up to the public. He has it set up like a tropical resort and they sell drinks and food and play some good tunes. Then we showered up and went over to our friends Kris and Katrina's house to play some games and eat supper before church. We played Settlers, their new game that they just brought back from Canada. I was getting the hang of it and almost won. or wun as Kris says. Than we ate some fantastic curry that Katrina had made especially for my birthday. It was awesome. We headed to church which was good and then back to their plac after for some more settlers. Now I'm home and headed to bed..... I enjoyed my day but I'll let you know how the big party goes. There are a few people who I'm still waiting to hear "Happy Birthday" from so if you're one of them: what's taking you so long? Peace out....
