I don't have much to say lately. I was away for a few days and that's why I didn't write. I went with some students from youth on a leadership trip to Lethbridge. The kicker was that it was all girls. 4 days with teenage girls is not an ideal situation. There was a day when that would've been a dream but not now. I survived and we did some cool stuff. The highlights for me were the two "churches" we checked out. We saw a service at "The Gate" church and we saw a "SoulSurvivor" night. They each had their own pros and cons but what I definitely took away a few thigs. I loved the worship at both: loud, very free, tight sound and big bands. I also loved the casual atmosphere of both, very come as you are. The last thing that stuck out as cool was that each service had a coffee break in the middle. It was a chance for people to mingle and connect. It's funny to me that so many amazing things are happening in such a small Canadian city. You would figure that bigger markets would be taking chances and trying new things and I guess they are but Lethbridge is also ahead of the game. Way to go Lethbridge!!! I also thought that L'brige was a nice place and I could see myself spending some more time there.
