Blogust & Everything After

Today I had my first meeting with Dan King, the youth pastor from my church, about a new job I'm starting as his administrative helper. It was a good meeting and we both got fired up about some things we can start doing to make sr.high ministry at Lakeview better. I've been out of the loop as far as high school ministry goes but I'm finding that passion again. I hope to use this experience as a stepping stone to future endeavors in youth ministry. I've often thought of being a youth pastor but every time things are going well something always happens that makes me think twice and pursue a more secular career. I'm going to take some time in the near future to really put some pressure on God for some answers....maybe he'll point me in the right direction. That would be nice....I never really get anywhere chasing after my own ambitions anyways....
