Tonight I went with a group of students and leaders from Lakeview to the opening of The Passion of The Christ. It was a good movie. It was the first Jesus movie that had the polished professional look of a Hollywood production, most of the other ones have more of a CBC feel. It really brought home the point that Jesus suffered....physically and emotionally. It was definitely as gory as everyone had said, in fact I thought it was too bloody. After awhile I didn't even feel bad about the abuse because it crossed the line of overly theatrical....I realize it WAS that bad but it was distracting rather than impacting. I don't want to say much cuz I know a lot of you won't be seeing it right away. It's worth it though and you should all see it....christian and none christian alike....peace out
