Blogust & Everything After

I'm halfway through finals. 2 down 2 to go. I think I've done well so far and I'm looking forward to finishing strong. It's tough to study though with the NBA playoffs in full swing. I realize I live in Hockey country but I don't really care about Hockey. Winter means Basketball season and the playoffs is Laker time. My Lakers squeaked out a slim victory over the Rockets the other night. I'm o.k. with that. Houston is a very good team and one of the toughest match-up-wise for the Lakers. Yao Ming makes Shaq work and the Lakers are terrible at dealing with talented point guards...in this case Steve Francis. I think this series will go six games with the Lakers prevailing.

On another note. This week is when I start my role as interim senior high director at Lakeiew. It's chance I've been waiting a long time for and I thank God for giving me this oppotunity. I have some fresh ideas and I hope that they work with the kids and the leaders. Senior high has been in a lull for a while and it just needs and infusion of energy. If anyone out there has any talents in music, drama, tech stuff, leadership etc. please get in touch with me cuz we would appreciate all the help we can get. Goodnight y'all...
