Blogust & Everything After

I can't believe I haven't blogged this week. It's been a good one. I finished up my finals on Tuesday which is always a good thing. I was starting to need a bit of a mental break or at least a re-focusing. Now my mental powers get to be used in a more creative way at the church. It's been a while since I've had to think of creative and fun ideas....I used to have many of them and so I hope with the right dose of coffee, music and playoff basketball they will surface again.

This month will be a busy yet satisfying one. I have the chance to really get the senior high ministry at Lakeview going. We're doing a series called "Sex, Drugs and Rock'n'Roll" a little for shock value and cuz I think they are important things facing students today. I'm also headed out to BC for a wedding and a visit this month. One of my teamates from my mission year in N.Ireland is getting married and I will also get a chance to visit with one of our kids from Ireland who happens to be in North America right now and is coming to the wedding. And finally at the end of the month we're taking about 30 kids to Edmonton for the YC conference. It's my first time going to YC but it should be a blast. Well that's enough for tonight....
