It has been so long since I've written here I'm not quite sure how it works anymore. My life has been busy lately. I was in BC for a week for a wedding and some sight seeing. It was nice. Vancouver is a beautiful place and worth all the hype it gets. Any place that has mountains and an ocean can't lose. It was my first time there and I guess what I enjoyed the most was the business (I love the action in a big city), I also really dug the houses and shops. I loved the style of design, I believe it's Victorian but I could be wrong. Our buildings here in Saskatoon just don't have a lot of character. One thing that always excites me in a big city is the diversity. I find that in Saskatchewan we are so "white" and as soon as you go somewhere else you realize that the world is full of all kinds of people. That ecclectic mix is something that adds a certain spice to life that I think we're missing here. I like Saskatoon and I don't mean to be harsh. I just wish we could bring some of the big city qualities here.
I'll be back later to blog about May Rally 2004....
