Nevada and I are back from a great long weekend spent at The Narrows in the Prince Albert National Park. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful campground to relax in. The weather wasn't great but we were still able to lounge around, read, play games, eat and read. It was also our first camping trip together as a couple. That was nice and it was fun to work together to set up and take down as well as maintain the site throughout the weekend (fire and meals). Genuinely we enjoyed each others company and that's the key.

On our way home we stopped in P.A. to catch a matinee showing of "The Village". It was a good show...not great but good. I can't say much about it because it's all based around a pretty neat plot twist. One of the best ever surprises I've seen. I recommend it to fans of creepy shows and to those of you who appreciate M. Night Shyamalan (Sixth Sense, Unbreakable and Signs) I also watched a DVD this weekend called "Manic". It starred Don Cheadle and it's about a group of kids who are dealing with various issues in a psych center. Don Cheadle is their counsellor and they deal with violence, anger, sexual deviance etc etc. It was an interesting show and a little glimpse into the lives of people that struggle with some of these issues. It's not for the faint of heart but it's definitely worth a rent.
