Today is a momentous day in Canadian sports. Steve Nash, a small white guy from Victoria, was awarded the NBA's Most Valuable Player award. He becomes only the fifth guard to win it in the history of the award...wow. He has overcome his lack of physical attributes by being a team player and understanding the game better than anyone. Canada may never see an NBA MVP ever again so this is a very big deal that even non-basketball fans in Canada should appreciate. I don't want to say too much so check out the article.
