Podcast virgins no longer

This week my wife has taken a big leap into the tech world...well at least a big leap for her. She's started to listen to podcasts. I've been listening to them for awhile now but she's never shown an interest. I guess she was looking for a supplement to her Bible reading devotional time and stumbled upon a sermon podcast when the iPod stereo was on shuffle. The last two nights she's done her daily cleaning with an iPod in her ears listening to Mark Driscoll from Mars Hill Church in Seattle. I love tech and I get excited when other people discover the joys of it's uses. In fact earlier this week I also helped another friend get into podcasts. He has an old Apple iBook, which is a great machine, and all he does with it is listen to music and look at ESPN.com...his words. I told him that he could listen to certain ESPN shows as podcasts. He's really excited to have PTI (Pardon the Interruption) back in his life. I also scored him to some podcast sermons to jumpstart his Christian quiet times. If you too are a podcast virgin I encourage you to take a look at the huge selection of podcasts in iTunes, they are free and can be a great source of informative, entertaining, thought provoking and inspiring content to add to your daily life.

every time I encounter a redesign I initially wonder what's wrong with my browser. Then I sigh and pause and enjoy the fresh look.

Kind of like having a bad day and then remembering God is in control.

May God continue to bless your ministry in Taipei.

Thanks honey for helping me with that! It looks like there are more in the Mars Hill series I started, so tonight you have to teach me how to find them :)
