So I like to keep up on the news at home. I read whatever I can find online (Star Phoenix, Lakeviewchurch, UofS etc.) and e-mail people when certain things are going on in Saskatoon. Lately I've been very encouraged by what is going on in my home church. I've been reading other peoples blogs and talking to people at home and it sounds like amazing new things are going on. Mainly, the sunday night service called "The Gathering" and the pre-hype of the "Worhip Freehouse". It's nice to hear good news about Lakeview cuz it seems like the only news that was coming out of there was bad news. I was inspired by Jebs blog today about the goings ons last night at LFMC. Ever since I did some missionary work in N.Ireland I've been wanting the church to be a bit more experimental with their worship. I talked to a few people about it but it never really got off the ground until now. Better late than never. In N.Ireland I experienced a new closeness to God when I was dancing and yelling and watching multimedia presentations. I don't know why this is so moving to me but obviously I'm not alone. I can't wait to come home and be a part of the Holy Spirit's movement in Saskatoon. I want to thank all of the people who are putting time and energy into these new ventures. I also want to encourage and offer my support. I'll be praying for you....see you soon. (26 days)
