Blogust & Everything After

This weekend was a big one. It was my third trip to the NBA Hoop-It-Up tournament. For the uninformed, it's the NBA's travelling 3on3 tournament. My best friend Tom and I decided a few years ago to get a team together. So we've made the trip to Calgary and Edmonton in the past. This year it was back to Calgary cuz we have a friend there named Luis which means a free place to stay. (Thanks Luis) We had a strong squad and made it to the finals for the first time. We lost 16-10 but we're getting better every year so we'll eventually bring the championship home. If I lose a hundred pounds and learn how to play defense we'll be unstoppable. Some of the weekend highlights were: a stop at OLD NAVY, some wonderful meals especially the one at Manie's greek restaurant ...OOPA!!, my headband sun burn, the total amount of gas dispersed by our team was amazing, naming Jared "LOAF", and our team of four eating a Pizza Hut meal meant for 8-10 people. It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to get back there next year.
