So we went to this new place yesterday. Some foreigner guy decided to set up a pool bar in town. If you've been to a tropical resort place than you know that a poolbar is where it's at. They've taken over the outdoor pool behind the nicest hotel in town and they've added some spectacular decor and thumping sound system. It costs about 4 bucks canadian and a cold Coors light is about 2$. It was a fantastic day, somewhere in the 35 degrees range. And I was loving the pool and not loving the sunscreen enough. Needless to say by the time I went home at supper time I was lobster red. It's my first big burn of the summer. I sort of see it as a base coat or a primer if you will. Nevada and I are going to Bali next week so I need to get my body used to the sun. I'm suffering today and probably will be for a couple more days but it'll be worth it when my body maintains some color. Well time to go get my Solarcaine rub down from the nurse (Nevada).
