So I did something kinda strange on Sun afternoon. First I must add that when I was home in Canada I decided to come back to Taiwan and be a bit more adventurous. One of the things I wanted to do was give seafood a better chance. I haven't like fish and seafood for my entire life but I decided that there must be something to it if so many people really like it. So anyways.... Nevada and I were grocery shopping and I decided to buy a lobster. It was about 10 bucks, a little steep but no big deal. We also bought a 10 dollar barbeque, kind of a habachi style thing. Charcoals etc. When we got home Nevada asked, "Are you gonna eat that thing today?" I said no. She said, "I think you're supposed to eat them fresh." I didn't really know if it was true but I had also heard that so (after just having eaten lunch) I put together the bbq and started prepping the lobster. I looked on the internet to see if you could bbq lobster and sure enough you can. So I made a garlic, butter and lemon juice mix to cook on this lobster. After a half hour of smoke and sweat the lobster was ready. I peeled off all the shell and went to town. It was actually pretty good, but in essence just tasted like chewy chicken and for that price I might as well just eat chicken. But anyways I'll let you know how my battle with seafood continues to unfold. Nevada still not buying it.
