Blogust & Everything After

Tonight I watched this Hitler miniseries on HBO. Hitler was a bad bad man. He had some crazy ideas. Now I believe that in some twisted way he really thought he was doing what was best for Germany but we all know how that worked out. It scares me cuz I get thinking "what would I have done if I was a young man in Germany at the time." I like to think I would have stood my ground against such craziness but Hitler was very convincing and not to mention violently persuasive. The eventual horror started as just a small movement and then it snowballed....it scares me to think of how easy it would be to get sucked in to a movement like that. I don't know a lot about history so I like to watch these shows and get a glimpse of what has happened in this world. Whether history was good or better there is no denying that it has shaped today. I hope to learn more history so I have a better understanding of why we are the way we are and so that I can be more informed about where we are headed. This is all off the top of my head and I may write again when I've had more time to think....Goodnight..
