Blogust & Everything After

Finally we're getting some good summer weather. I have to admit that my fav temperature is around 22 but for a few days a year I can totally handle the 30's.

The big election was last night. I didn't get a chance to vote. There was a voting station at my church but it was for a different riding (I think that's the right word). Then when I was going to head out and vote at the right place I realized that I didn't know where the right place was. I was too lazy to find out and head down there so I didn't vote. I'm happy to say that the difference was more than one vote so my vote didn't really matter. I really don't care much for politics. I find that no matter who we vote in we get some good and we get some bad. They each choose to spend money in positive places and they each short change us in a negative way. So no matter what we do with our votes we win and lose. I think I would've voted for an independent party because I think that they are the only ones trying to make true differences in our country. They stand for something and I like that. But a vote for an independent party is basically irrelevent....I belive only one independent won last night. So we have a Liberal Gov. again...as long as they don't steal a lot of money again and stick to their plans I think we'll be o.k.
