Blogust & Everything After

Thursday was a big day for my wife. She got her first tattoo. It's a smiley sun with "Jesus loves you!" written under it (I'll get some pictures online soon). Now everyone in her immediate family has a tattoo. Her dad got one at Christmas because he thought he was the only one left to get one but Nevada was still a tattoo virgin at the time. If you know me at all you know that I have several tattoos and I'm excited to keep add more ink.....so I am so glad my wife has joined in the fun although she'll tell you that it wasn't much fun. She has always told me about her high threshold for pain but the tattooing process proved to be more painful than she thought. After the first 7 mins she started feeling dizzy and light-headed...then she passed out. I haven't really dealt with fainting before so it freaked me out big time. I was so upset. She faded in and out for about 5 mins and then she came back. I don't ever want to have to deal with that again. You can read Nevada's version of the story on her blog.
