My wife and I are headed to a wedding in Luseland tomorrow. That's the town that most of her family is from. I sometimes enjoy my time out there but I am definitely an urbanite and the rural scene just isn't for me. They're having a big dance and party tomorrow night. I really don't like wedding dances. Everyone is just out to get really drunk and out of control. That's something I don't enjoy doing or being a part of these days. I used to be a part of a scene like that and it had its place but it's just not me anymore. I don't want to be rude at the wedding but I also don't want to be a part of a big debauchery filled evening. What do I do? How do I politely stand up for my beliefs?
