The NBA season is underway and what a great start its been. I want to mention 3 things. 1st and most importantly the Lakers went in to Denver and came away with a W. Denver is expected to be a top team this year and the apparently not so good Lakers kept their composure and Kobe put'em away in overtime. I'm so excited. I really do think that the Lakers are better than people think. 2nd...the Raptors lost their first game 99-96...3 points..not so shabby for a team that the experts rank last in the league. I also think the Raptors will prove people wrong. They may not make the play-offs but they will not be in the bottom 5 of the league. Lastly...Steve Nash is awesome...he's a great representative of Canada in the NBA. His first game numbers...30pts, 8rebs and 9 ast...he's true to his MVP title.
