My Job...

I really like my new job. The project I'm working on is writing the teacher answer keys for a series of children's ESL science books. Basically I read through the books and write down all the answers. It's such a great thing...God has answered my prayes in the job department. I make my own hours, work at home, work at Starbucks and get paid quite well. I've always envied people who work at home and now I am one of those people. I'm not saying that it's better or worse, it just suits me the best. Yesterday the lady who hooked me up with the job called and said that the publishers had an urgent request that I get a certain book done in one day. I was aprehensive cuz I'm new to the job buut I said yes. I immediately asked her where we could meet for me to pick up the book....she said I didn't need to worry, the publishers would send it over to my house. So two hours later a courier shows up with a new book for me to work on. Get that...."a publisher couriered a book to my house so that I could meet an urgent deadline." Who is this guy?

Confession time: One of the breaks I take from my work is to watch Oprah. I love that show. It used to be a cheesy talkshow a la Geraldo, Donahue but now it's such a tear jerker, an emotional rollercoaster that touches my heart. That's right, I cry almost everytime I watch it. So there you have it....I am an Oprah fan. Dr.Phil....that's a whole other story.

Great to hear how things are going. You might like Martha Stewart's new show too.

Too bad it comes on just as I head to my office job.

you people...

you'll get no words of affirmation from me regarding your poorly chosen use of tv time.

it's brain rot - all of it!

Ah the Oprah plug - such a blatant publicity stunt for extra blog comments. What's next...Gilmore Girls your favorite show?
