This is post number 600. I started this blog a few years ago as a way to communicate with people back home when we were living in Taiwan for the first time. The whole thing was a new fad with some friends of mine...who incidentally have pretty much all quit their blogs. It has remained a place for me to communicate with people back home but it's also become a place to share some ideas, meet new people, vent feelings etc. I've never been able to keep up with paper journal writing but this online format has kept me writing. I hope to someday hit 1000 posts so that I can join the blogging elite.
Unlike some bloggers who write for their own benefit I definitely like to know that people are reading. So with this special 600th post I would like to do an audience check. WHO'S STILL READING MY BLOG AND WHAT KEEPS YOU COMING BACK? (please leave a comment)
(edit: this is actually post #601...oops)

Hi. I enjoy reading your blogs. Its truly amazing of the things that you are doing in Taiwan. As a matter of fact I was in Taiwan over the winter break and loved it. Too bad I was in Kaoushong (the southern city) My parents are from there thats why. Keep updating your blog. Thanks.
I just like living vicariously through other people's experiences :P. JK I'm just genuinly interested in what you guys are up to over there and it's good to read how much yuo are ejoying yourselves and the sometimes humorous cultural differences you run into. Ok well maybe there's a teensy bit of the first part in there too, hehe. Cheers.
You know I read it...:)

I don't know if you know this or not, but this week is actually "national delurking week". Seriously, look it up... :)it's a week where blog writers usually write a thing on thier blog asking all readers to lurk to come out and indetify themselves! I have already delurked on 4 blogs with week! I love reading blogs, even people I don't know, why? I have no idea! Maybe I'm some sort of stalker or something. ok, maybe not, but still... but since it's delurking week and you asked, here I am! I am Amy from Ontario. I read Angie's blog (glittery diamond) who in turn sent me to Lyn's blog, who intern came across Gemma's page and then Nevada's and yours! I've followed the whole pregnancy and the pictures and what not. So yes, I check your blog a few times a week. :) and I feel like I know you are your family so well!
I read your blog because I am a good wife :) I can't beleive its been so long since you started this, and our Taiwan adventure began!
We read your blog faithfully, makes us feel like We're not missing out on so much of your goings on. Denise & Mike
I still read. Helps me keep up on what you're up to and how you're doing.
