The week of the Office

This week is dedicated to organizing my offices. Yesterday my co-worker Lydia and I headed out on a furniture buying tour of Taipei. We started in the second hand furniture/appliance neighborhood of town to buy a fridge, some couches and office chairs. Then, in the afternoon, it was off to one of my favorite places...Ikea. We spent 3 hours lost in the budget design maze as we decided, second guessed and decided again on furnishings for our new Ministry Center/Office. Our stuff arrives tomorrow and I'll be spending a few hours assembling with joy as the excitement builds as our church reaches a new level. At home we've also been working on my office. It's been in shambles since the summer and is not much of a positive working environment. My wonderful wife surprised me with a bunch of new office organizing things..like a magazine rack, a pencil jar, a stationary organizer thingy. With my job, my class and my hobbies I spend a lot of time in my office so this new found cleanliness and organization should make things go a lot smoother. Next up getting our tornado stricken bedroom back into shape...

I'm so excited about how your church is doing. I know you would've had a lot of fun shopping and decorating. I can't wait to see it!
